Krishna said,
“I shall reveal unto you the top secret wisdom understanding which, intuitively grasping which, you will become free from this inauspiciousness, O uncarping dear friend. The King of all sciences, the royal secret, peerless sanctifier, essence of all dharma, easy to do and open to direct experience, imperishable as it is. 1 shall tell you that. Failing to know it is to speed up on the path of death, and around the darkened rounds of transmigration. The only cause of failure is to be without homage and trust in this wisdom.

“This whole universe is pervaded by Me, like ice in water. And all figures of this cosmic dream abide in my one beam of consciousness. But behold my power-

pasya me yoga maisvaryam

“You look at (he vast oceans, mountains, rivers, woods and beauty in the faces of the loved ones, love in their eyes, but my beam is never perceptible to your all smart gazes. I keep hiding and you keep misconceiving. Though I am everywhere- but as if nowhere. Although all these - your beautiful, lovely, soothing adventurous things are formed of my own texture still I am not contained, not exhausted by all of you. It is of course a beam of light which projects on TV and movies screens, forming millions of scenes and varieties of events, still the beam doesn’t undergo all those changes. The same way, no matter how dangerous things become, world wars, devastations, tornadoes, floods, Satya age. Kali age go on, but my beam remains undisturbed, undistorted, clean and sparkling. Just like wind cannot bother the sky, water beasts cannot harass the ocean, your own nose cannot tease and tickle your face, so also the creation and dissolution do not drain my energy. Just like a roaring lion of your dream cannot disturb the sleep of your spouse beside you, nothing of the world can entangle me, nothing can crush me in their cruel clutches. Vice versa, human beings though containing me in their very Being go through all the unimaginable agony of suffering & changes.

“At the end of 4 billion years the picture file of the cassette of the cosmic VCR is over. Nature goes to sleep. VCR goes to repair shop. In the beginning of a new cosmic day prakriti wakes up again and the movie starts up again. As soon as heroes and actors and actresses go liberated they are replaced by new ones. Stains of karma have to be washed clean, have to be gone through unless some startling, new action-fruit intervenes. Just like a regular american sees starving, sick, suffering ugly, illiterate children of Ethiopia, great politicians and singers and tycoons of the States are seen by knowers of this wisdom with great nausea, disgust& sympathy.

“Rotating the wheels of joy towards torture, the wheels of life towards death, the wheels of peace towards war, karmas do not stain me. It can be likewise to you, O Arjuna. All you have to do is, See, peer, stare and gaze to find out that all this is me, the Bramha, neither I nor he nor she nor anybody or anything else exists but Me, the Bramha. Knowing thus become a disinterested spectator whether viewing your own life or other’s. As far as duty towards family, friends and kinsmen is concerned do it as Vedas guide you and never in a chaotic way of materialistics. For the rest be an onlooker, an impartial witness. As soon as you become serious about a nightmare you suffer, but as soon as you know it as your own subconscious prank you can make fun and laugh about it. So take only me seriously all other as cheap pranks. It is my impregnating presence through which nature gives birth to all alive and rocklike people & things of the world, and revolves in circumambulations. But she always requires my impregnating closeness, embracings & pattings. It is from here that all couples get their romance.

“Lost in that people forget to lift their gaze and remain oblivious of my godliness and supremacy therefore, when & when I incarnate on earth, they begin underestimating me; their smartness is futile and their knowledge just extra flesh on their belly. Their big exciting master plans only lead to imprisonment. Look at Galileo. Look at the fear of Descartes. Look at Sartre & Nietzsche where their knowledge led them, to fear, prison, asylums, even Socrates, Plato& Aristotle all got into trouble. Not for knowledge of course but due to their master plan associated with the wisdom. When such wisemen-class ones have faults in planning the proper course of action who then are you?

“Therefore, watch for your hope, action and knowledge; they shouldn’t be-

moghasa mogha karmano

-the futile, time-wasting hopes & courses of action. And watch that they mustn’t lead to –

raksasim asurim chaiva

-making you robot-like or monsterous stalking like terminator on the face of the earth.

“Therefore Arjuna let your thought, speech and action & understanding be ruled by:

daivim satvic sampadam

“Then only it will put some extra strength in your vision that you may be able to see the Bramha while spreading your gaze all around. Then you will understand the power of my name. That even while stumbling, yawning, falling, slipping or even in making fun, laughing or singing if you happen to utter it then piles and piles of karmas are washed clean, never to be found again. Even intentionally or unintentionally if you sang or whispered my name, it will not go without bestowing benediction no doubt. In shock, surprise, fear, hurt, lament or even something elseif my name is uttered it destroys heaps of sinful karmas and opens a brighter destiny. There is no place, no time, no circumstance in which you cannot, should not or will not then utter, just like one drop of wine is enough to make you fallen, same way, one name of mine taken is plenty to be karma-free and arisen. My name has greater power than prayaschitta or confession or repentance. Therefore, those who know me sing and whisper my name always.

“Singing my name, thinking of my form and pastimes always, striving to attain me, and offering obeisances to me daily with love, make your heart weightless & relieved of pressures of thickened vibrations of past karmas. To the one who has done asvamedha yajna, how much great merit and power he’s stored; but I tell you O sullen one, a single obeisance to me is equal in merit to the performing of ten asvamedha yajnas. Therefore, a knower of my mystery offers obeisances to me again and again…

namantyascha mam bhaktya

“Not rolling down from that elevated devotional mood they find me all over and everywhere.

“Many worship me through jnanayajna which is God as universal experience. Others unify God with their inner Self and multiply themselves. Others worship me through one of the five relationships shanta, dasya, vatsalya, sakhya and madhur bhava. Many others worship me through very many ways. Those too arc perfect.

“I am the ritual to engage you in the fire sacrifice, pindas to ancestors to bring blessing for you, herbs to heal you, mantra to empower you, ghee & fire and oblations I am too. Assuming the form of sun I give you warmth; raining sweet water I see your joy. Everywhere are my hands and feet. Don’t you hear my footsteps I always walk by your side many times placing my hand on your shoulder. When you cry in pain don’t you hear my heart ache too? Why have you gone so stony hearted O dear friend?

“My ears arc always there to listen to you even to your baby language. I protect you as the apple of my eye. And I am always there to care for you, to fix your room and bedding too. I am nectar, I am death, I am truth, I am myth, -whatever you choose. It is all to facilitate your freedom to enrich, to produce vast varieties for you to choose and feel really you are free. Know for sure I am all over you. Surrounding, enveloping, caressing you from all sides. When you want to go to planet Svah I assume the form of Vedas and appear in the form of knowledge of rituals of yajnas. Doing that you become entitled to reserve a mansion and airplane and all joys appropriate to your shining punyas. Your punyas mean your will to get what you want will be true. Living there for a long time, enjoy all sensual pleasures then your punyas arc drained and run out and your soul descends on earth again. And since your mental set-up is patterned for only sensational joys probably you are drawn to perform similar sacrifices again, or you are born in places like america to have some more. Either way your cycle continues, and either you keep comingdown and going up and coming down, or you come down and consume without making more and go down further after death to suffer consequences. Until you realize that all what you are doing is just striving hard to move from one good dream to another better dream, you stay confined in the dream-prison. Once you understand you are in better shape.

“When you become exhausted and become suddenly aware that what a foolish shunting is going on again and again and yet again, then you retreat. Then, for the first time you think of me seriously; & once your lips begin moving in tunes of my name you feel so sweet & nectarine that you wish you could have thousands of lips so that you could whisper & feel the deliciousness of it. Then my name rolls on and your ears hear and they wish and torment if they would have been thousands, then they could have enjoyed a thousand times more. Then they do enjoy thousands times more right then, because my name is a desire tree in itself. It has all the power which I myself have, rather some more too. When lips and ears both become joined with bliss of the whisper and hearing, then some of the nectar of name pours down in the heart. Then they’re on dorsal plexus on the golden pericarp, sixteen petalled pink lotuses a gorgeous stage is formed. And they’re two letters of my name, like actors begin dancing. This dance becomes so ecstatic so rapturous, so enchanting, that all the five senses of perception such as abilities of speaking, tasting, hearing, smelling & touching run down from their residences, and abilities of five organs of action run down from their places, and mind, intellect & ego too come and sit around the stage as an audience and begin seeing the divine dance as beautiful and picturesque as 1 & Radha used to dance in Vrindaban moonlit midnight. Lost in ecstatic oblivion at the end, all shout

“These nightly performances pick up the rapture and begin to take over-dawn also, dusk also; then anytime of the day or night pop in along with all the audience. No one wants to miss single minute of the show. When this begins it goes on and on doing anything to take care of financial arrangements for the family become more and more in jeopardy then,

“Then, O Arjuna, To these magnaminous, great beings, I myself come to observe their necessities. And whatever food, clothes, home, car, medicine, or anything is required, I hurry to arrange for them. Not only this, I personally take care of the safety of their stored things too. Such is my resolve, such is my vow. My personal vow may get broken for my owns, but not this vow which is pertaining to my own’s. It is solid and everlasting, no doubt! Homage is such a precious thing.

“If with homage you worship to other forms of gods then too you achieve what you want but your worship is based on ignorance. Not knowing me as the receiver of all oblations of all sacrifices and Lord, is not knowing my reality and that only means falling in bondage. It is obvious if you worshipcelestials, manes, or spirits, then you will attain them and to their planets. But worshipping me is finding me and that is synonymous to eternal liberation, eternally free.

“In order 10 worship me you do not have to rush or spend a lot of money. Of course if your devotion is sincere you cannot hold back your heart to offer all the best you can afford, that’s love’s way, but from my side, I require none. Just some leaves, tulasi, rose, lotus, jasmine, banana, apple, whatever flowers, fruits and water you offer me with love I eat them all with great gratefulness. Thanks, thank you, so delicious it is, I say.

yat karosi yad asnasi
yajjuhosi dadasi yat
yat tapasyasi kaunteya
tat kurusva madarpanam

“Therefore Arjuna, Whatever sharings and love offerings you make, whatever trouble and tough lime you lace on the Uric of your duty and dharmu, all that just offer to me. By doing so all auspicousness and inauspicousness of karma will not bind you and their binding influences will not slain either.

samoham sarvabhutesu
na me dvesvosti na priyah
ye bhajanti tu mam bhaktya
mayi te tesu capy aham

“Equally and evenly I pervade all. No one is there to hate nor anyone so dear. But Ihose who ihink of me wilh love, Ihey in me & I in ihem, personally, directly manifest. Just like fire is hidden everywhere but by rubbing two sticks it manifests, similarly I am everywhere unmanifestly but directly manifest where there is great embrace in love between my devotee and me. If such union of caress is made possible even in the heart of extremely unrighteous he is considered to be a sage because he has determined such a loving embrace between Inner Self & God as the supreme yoga. Because of his strength and determination his sagaciousness becomes mountain-high and sky-wide and ocean-deep and that is why from there arises peace and so much love and so much bliss in the shadow of which the whole world can live happily for millenias

“Know for sure, those who think of me perish not. Whether you be a terribly business-minded businessman, very thick-headed lady or hard working workaholic or worse, thinking of me, whispering my name, bowing down to me, get to attain me. What then to speak of those pious, devoted, sagacious royal family born ones like yourself? Attaining this misery-filled, temporary & perishable but rare opportunity of the human body, waste no time by letting your mind entangle in sensational joys!

“Since all else, physically, astrally & celestially is ready to be scattered away any moment like pieces of cloud in the wind, therefore, O great Prince, regain through me your lost awareness, love and your very own Self by introducing your mind in me, then heart into me, the owner of transcendental world where everything is true, god-texturcd, and immortal; enter in me through nine-symptomed devotion, then abide in me. Thus, dismiss the body-dream at will, and become my very own.”

Sri Krishna spoke, “My dear friend,

 

anasritah karma phalam

karyam karma karoti yah

sa sannyasi ca yogi ca

na niragnir na cakriyah

 

 

“Neither the one who renounces action is a yogi, nor one who renounces the sacred fire, but verily he or she who renounces the passionate clinging to the outcome and enthusiastically performs is the true yogi and true swami too. The one, which is sannyasa, is yoga also, because without transcending the desires, yoga is not possible. Selfless action is best in start with and complete evaporation of desires is a progressively higher stage. Neither being a workaholic nor being a fruitaholic, but pure desirelessness is the only perfume of advancing in the path of yoga. It is desire, clinging to the fruit that pushes one’s self off into the ditch. Therefore one must lift up oneself from the ocean of suffering by oneself, and one must not push or let fall one’s self in the hellish pool of misery. Because, you are yoursell your own friend; and you are yourself your own enemy. If you have empowered your intellect, if you have exercised and strengthened its might and its commanding ability upon mind & senses, then you are certainly your own best friend; But if you have not done this yet, you are definitely your own worst enemy! If you are still not yet in the mood of starting you are destined to stay your own worst enemy for the rest of eternity!

 

“Do not shiver when cold comes, do not go restless and grumble when heat comes. Do not go stupefied like fortune wheel winners when happiness arrives, and do not cry when suffering descends. Do not feel bitter when humiliated and do not brag around when highly respected. Keep heart just like oceanica pacifica because, in great length and width of heart, God is accommodated!

“When you are so rich and prosperous in knowledge & experience all the gold, silver & diamonds of the world become like insignificant clay and stones, just like El Dorado. Not of much worth to strive for. Striving for them becomes a waste of time. So rich, so famous, so empirical, so royal, so gentile you become that no hate, no bitterness no irritation, no agitation is left in your heart even for sinners. Even for enemies and those avaricious, jealous and indifferent. Your love inundates all.”

 

When Majanoo was sneaking into his beloved Laila’s upstairs room, he confronted her angry brother, ready to fight, but he refused. Because his face look like his beloved. He can only love & love & love to all who arc related, connected, or even resemble her.

“Spread kusha grass mat, deer skin over that, hand woven cotton upon that, remaining even, balanced, not too high, nor loo low, nor tilting but straight & firm be seated softly on that train and let mind & senses and their actions to stay under your yogic dictum and then begin yoga, first just to purify yourself. Body, head and neck should be in one straight line, your glance should be focused nowhere else but on the nose tip. Staying firm on the vow of celibacy & fearlessness do visualization of my transcendental form on dorsal, pineal or KM) lotus petal plexus. Peacefully practicing induction visualization and retreating you begin abiding in me. Make my remembrance your very residence. This is the simplest easiest yoga, O dear friend.

 

“This yoga is perfected by moderate consumption of health food therapy, moderate application of sleep therapy. There should be a healthy balance between waking & sleeping, acting & socializing. When your mind guided by intellect begins to abide in the Self, that time you become yoga - yukta…

 

“Just like a burning flame alit in the windless space, likewise your mind becomes. That’s when yoga succeeds!

“Completely introversive by practice of successful yoga when your intellect becomes purified & subtlized then it abides permanently in the satisfaction of atmic-experience. Great joy…O,Wonderful bliss of beyond senses is perceived by stilled windless, whimless intellect and there you become immovably established in the atmatatva Magnificent.

 

“Attaining which you consider no other item superior other than this, before which even mountains of misery fail to shake, rattle or mesh; which is far beyond, furthest away from smearing unions with misery in the form of worldliness, that, yes THAT, hurray, that- is yoga, the one and only- that’s it! There is the yogic experience born, hatched in all its loveliness. That should be practiced, untired, unbored, and with determined consciousness. This is the supreme duty. Recognize this fact and leap up on the line of this most elegant Amtrak duly of your life!

 

“Desires born of immense will, emanated from vasana & prarabdha, which are determined to toss and turn and throw you off of your True Self, drop them all efficiently, completely, & fully so that even a single memory of their existence is finished. Thus having locked off all lingering traces organize your senses patiently, patiently, slowly and slowly, and gradually arise, arise and arise, holding up intellect, steadied by patience, place it in the Self and think no longer of anything other than the Sell.

 

“Where revolting mind freaks out and sneaks away then patiently following up generously with motherly affection picking it up place it in the Self-experience, facilitate it to relish the gorgeous inside the anti-material world of beyond the mundane.

 

“It is only your degree of sinlessness, the degree of your honesty, intensity on the line of your duty throughout life, the degree of your clarity in non-expecting in all undertakings, that is on the ultimate TEST today; so when you fathom deep nearing Mystica transcensia check your worth. Also check the worth of all success & accomplishments of your life. If you passed the test then,

“Infinitely uplifting, upsurging, arising bliss of Bramhic experience is swelling like high lidos of rapture to engulf you inundate you and immortalize you in bliss, peace & love.

“Once you cross the boundary of lemptaiion, your karmas are considerably less in from of the gigantic sky high size of meritorious deeds of risking life on the line of dutifulness. Yes, of course this makes you cross the boundary then Bramha becomes easy & easily & happily your touch with it enlarges inlo all-encompassing expansion of happiness. There here comes joy, a miracle of miracles…

 

sarva-bhutastham atmanam

sarva bhutani catmani

iksate yoga yuktatma

sarvatra samadarsanah

 

yo mam pasyati sarvatra

sarvam ca mayi pasyati

tasyaham na pranasyami

sa ca me na pranasyati

 

 

“Once your atma becomes this Bramha, and this Bramha becomes your atma then this same atma you begin to see as being of all. Then you do not see as american, european, ethiopian, russian, arabian, female, male, rich, poor, ugly, beautiful. Just like a righteous person looks only to the good in others and avoids or just doesn’t see the bad, unless their being a teacher and do so just to remove it the same way perfected yogis do not sec other’s bodies nor the past or future nor what dirt is in the heart. He leaves all those for psychics. Atma alone is perceived by him, adorns his eye like star-shine the sky. According to other’s levels of consciousness they are dim or far more bright and walk about like human-stars. In that, like a vast interwoven sheet of will he sees all beings in the Atma, spread out like canopy of sky which Bramha has mysteriously individualized for him. And not just for five billion people of today, but also all plants, animals, hills & nations, their destiny, karma and multifarious history. When the sheet of will is dropped diversity is dissolved and lightenings of Atma alone remain.

 

“Thus rolling and speeding and racing multi-colored lights continue on and on. Then this light of individualized Bramha now appearing as Atma,” Krishna says “Assumes the form of Me - Myself. And then you see me in all beings in the form of their Atma, which they will realize certainly after multi-billions of lifetimes. Yes, bone-breaking brain-stunning tough task it is and duty performance family taking care of and so many different families-after each 100 or so years in different species and races too. The same ultimate destiny begins to get shining and shimmering and illuminating as Lord Krishna the Vasudeva. You see Me then, O Arjuna, all permeating in the hearts of all regardless of outer appearances.”

 

Then that vision is taken over by another one, not Vasudeva in each & all appearing now, but all are spread out in Vasudeva. Krishna has become now cosmic now he is Virat. In all his limbs all planets with all happenings are located. You can see in him all like vast screen of television. All the world of each being from Rasatal to Satyaloka, and all indwelling celestials and sages and others of billions of years in age. All are residing or appearing in the 4 billion mile large Sri Krishna Virat. Ami Krishna says,

 

“One who gets this most valuable & rare darshan1 never disappear from his sight, and he never disappears from mine.”

 

What a grand reassurance. Krishna is now in the mood of discoursing the Truth in terms of himself. So he says,

 

“Established in unification of vision, that I am abiding in all as their very own Being, when you love me and you go ecstatic in that as Chaitanya & Meera, then even if you are not dancing and singing like them but stay calm and deep and profound like Buddha and Shankara, or act like you Arjuna, extensive, intensive, or even so like businessmen of america always busy, too busy, but because of immortal love even though working hard, on 24 hour call, still he is in me, for me, by my side always. He is right in front of Me. No matter in Los Angeles or New York, London or Bombay; all are just shadows of the light of Me, reality is Me. They see me always, no need to close eyes and try to tune-in, but right there with wide opened eyes, while hectically acting on the line of duty there is nothing in their experience except Me & Me & Me.

 

sarvabhutasthitam yo mam

bhajaty ekatvam asthitah

sarvatha vartamano pi

sa yogi mayi vartate

 

 

Krishna elaborates further, and my reverend father used to become very particular when emphasizing this adventure-

 

atmaupamyena sarvatra

samam pasyati yo arjuna

sukham va yadi va duhkham

sa yogi paramo matah

 

 

“Even while he sees all in Me and Me in all, still his interactions flow differently and appropriately. Just like the whole body is yours, if any limb suffers you also suffer equally from the toe to the head, but still you cannot wear your shoes on your head, and your hat on your feet; shirt you cannot wear on your thighs and pant you cannot wear on your neck and necktie on your hips. Although all are your limbsand you love them alike, still there is appropriate discrimination. The same way with equanimity of vision a great automatic talent of appropriate responsecomes and that is a special gift of enlightenment. Below that there will always be questions of right & wrong which is what–? Is it right or is it wrong??–But it is only here you see all in him & him in all. All equally and on the grounds of absolute equanimity different varieties of treatment and interactions flow. While seeing like this and acting like this, whatever joy & problem and suffering comes then treat them all alike. One who is past master of this way of life is mine own; he is my favorite. He is my man. I can sing & laugh with him.

 

Then here goes Arjuna, he asks,-

“O great one, what can I do? Seems what you’ve said is grcal. the all-time finest, but look at my mind, so turbulent, restless, it always sneaks out… It takes off my Lord-see, it goes out to see the Pyramids in Egypt then to Buckingham palace, then to Disneyland, then Vedaland, then Grand Canyon, the Crystal cathedral, then Benares Hindu University Too powerful Sir, organizing it is too difficult like taming the air, what shall 1 do- O my angelic friend?”

 

Krishna resounded.

“Yes of course, no doubt about it oh great warrior- you are right! You are absolutely right! But there is a way also, just because it seems difficult are you one to give up? Where there’s a will the way opens up. I’m sure. You have to practice to bring it on to the right spot. Through the faculty of detachment you have to hold it upright. Anyone, who wants right, always right, has got to do it dear. And once you determine & decide things become easy, I assure you. Therefore, you must try. If you have already tried fifty times, make it one hundred. Even if you’ve tried nine hundred times make it one thousand! Nothing to lose. If you don’t do it you lose life itself.”

 

Arjuna asked,

“Holy sire, I’ve a question again; If a shaky minded person after practicing so much yoga goes astray in the midway if he fell in love with Ms. Universe, became a tycoon, or ran for office& was elected President, or death came, and Realization didn’t happen then does his life just perish away like some shattered piece of cloud?”

 

“No Arjuna, no, not like that. Neither here nor hereafter there is no perish to come to harm any iota of his earnings. Nobody can take it away, and you can’t lose it. There’s no going backwards, or astrayonce you begin on the spiritual path. Perish or fall does not occur to those who do kalyana to his own Self through yogic practice. Such yogabhrasta’s soul travels to either Svah, Maha, Janah, Tapah, Satyam or Bramha loka of existence and there he enjoys & lives long long years according to his punyas. Then he comes back on earth again and is born in a prosperous, spiritual, yoga practicing family. Rare is such a birth of course. Here his past impressions of yoga, draw him to some enlightened one & he continues from wherever he had left. Even great riches and family love and glamour cannot allure him, he transcends them all successfully. “Therefore, O Arjuna, you become a yogi! Yogi is far-advanced personality than penance-performing great wilier, intellectual giant or philosopher or even great scholar of performances of religious rituals. And among all yogis, the one who is unified with me through all the depths of his or her heart, is the very intimate friend of me.

 

“Do you know someone, anyone like this? Give him this flower and invite him to dinner to see me…”

Lord, How shall I know a yogi?

-Dearest one, know him as the one who unites his mind with the Divine within; who merges his 1/10 into the total 9/10’s, and lives like that always. Whose world-dream is dropped; and he’s awakened into Bramhic-Reality. One who is nobody in the world but somebody in My world, where all is composed of divine Love…

One who melted into love and rose into ultimate triplicity of worshipper, worshipped and the worship; of lover, beloved & the relation. You have a choice: Be thou an actionist yogi like Bharat, Janak, Rama, or meditationist yogi as Matsendra, Gorahka, Jalandhar, or devotionist yogi as Andal, Lalla & Harivamsa.

All these grandeurs of yogic wonders lead to one state of premaiva karyam, premaiva karyam… that reflects through one’s eyes & face, through one’s way of speaking, smiling & laughing…. Know him, he is the best yogi in my heart.

“Dear one, through this process 1 am about to tell you you will perceive my power, splendor & love, as well as the very Self of all beings and he freed of all doubt everlasting. I am telling you that, the knowledge so great that knowing it nothing is left in the entire world worth knowing. You will know all then.

 “Arjuna, among thousands of people only one takes the trouble to find Me. Among those rare ones who make hard efforts, some seleeted one understands me properly and wholly Arjuna, please meditate on this,-I have a two-dimensional nature: apara and para.

 “Earth, water, fire, air, ether and mind, intellect & ego are my apara or unconscious nature. All forms of life seen or heard anywhere in -the world are combinations of these two. And I am the origin of both & beyond. Beyond and outside me there is nothing but me. The entire creation is woven in and through me like thread in beads. I am the taste in water, light in the sun & moon, Aum in the Vedas, sound in the ether and manliness in man. Sacred perfume in earth, light in fire, life in all forms and the very tapas in all who possess power. I am the intellect of the intellectuals, lustre of the illustrious; I am attachment & desire-free power of the powerful. And I am the desire that longing which is abiding by scriptures & dharma.

 “All desires emanating from satva, rajas & tamas are oozing from me with the only difference that in them I do not exist and in me they do not exist. Because they arc far distant formations of furthest expressions of my power and have become perverted and deformed. Due to these desires arising from the gunas as well as attachment and exertion the whole world is deluded and hallucinated and thus their eyes though open wide, see me not, feel me not…

“My power, my three dimensional maya is impenetrable and unpiercible. Those who think of me always they alone cross beyond it.

 “It is easy to think of me. Easy to think of me always. But because their minds are captivated and kidnapped by maya their faculty of understanding is obscured, clarity of vision is gone, therefore those performers of horrifying & terrible deeds do not know me so cannot think of me. How can a swine value a pearl?

 “But, in course of time beginnings do happen. And they do realize the value of thinking of me. When they become pious and auspicious the action-performer’s thinking does enter their life. Then a miracle happens! And they rush! According to their way of thinking & remembering they are of four types:

1. Those who remember me for wealth accumulation known as artharthi;
2. Those who remember due to terrible affliction redemption, known as arta;
3. Those who recall to understand more deeply their curiosities, known as jajnasu;
4. Those who reminisce to attain the enlightenment; they arc the jnanis.

 “It is the fourth whose love and devotion is most laudable and all embracing and that is why he is so dear to me. All these lour kinds of high aspiring souls are magnanimous by heart but the jnani is my own self. He is so wholly established in me that it’s beyond description. You can only know by experiencing it. After many lifetimes of constant, vigorous efforts at last that one attains the highest wisdom of the Ultimate Reality of which outer expression is

 

vasudevah sarvamiti…

 

 

“This whole entirety is vasudeva and nothing else… Such an evolved soul is a most valuable gem in the world. Seeing & serving him is a rare opportunity.

 “But as long as your mind is tempted & captivated by sensational joys and you keep racing and chasing the goal of your each desire and cannot recognize such a jnani, great soul, then you adopt my ways and modes of life which will serve your purpose; which can make your desired object available. In this context you become interested in various forms of angels & shrines and saints and often devas too. When you assume the prescribed codes of conduct to receive the benediction of such angels & saints I strengthen your faith and devotion & homage into those beings. And upon fulfillment of your faith you attain whatever you expected. But that process and goal and fulfillment all are ordained & regulated by me. Whatever you attain is approved of by me. Nature provides you acording to the laws made by me. But those attainments and prosperity are too fickle and perishable. And even though you attain to the abodes of the angels after death in due course of time you return to the same problems. But those who think of me, no matter how they meditate, attain me, the imperishable one.

 “But these pantheists these adorers of many gods and goddesses, and hostile bossy authorities of their daily life, are aspiring for very small things. In fact, in turn, they are worshipers of their own sex and bellies. And this joy is really quite insignificant; quite contrary to that which those who think of me no matter how, attain to… Yes me, the imperishable one. And I remember your offerings all those days beyond the life of earth sun and moon too.

 “Even then, why people do not think of Me is only because they do not know that 1 am unborn, beyond physical appearance and deathless; I appear only through my illusory potency, the maya. Due to being programmed into the entirely different patterns of thinking, even though being owners of good logic and argument systems, they can only figure out as one of the good mythical philosopher warriors or social reformers obsessed with the idea of being smart & efficient; thus they prove to be efficient only in missing& avowed non-understanding.

 “They’ve to pull out the electrode placed in their brains which has caused conditions of materialistic hypnosis by their own samskaras and vasanas contributed in piles after piles by non-inlergalactic systems of education, family, society, radio & tv shows and national customs.

 “When the curtain of my maya is unveiled, this hypnosis will be gone and they will see me as I am. Just like a tycoon that hides behind security officers, President hides behind his inaccessibility & power, I too hide behind the curtain of my yogamaya. And thus he alone knows whom I let know.

 “Dear Arjuna, whatever was, whoever lived in the past, who are living now and will come to pass, 1 know them all. All are in the present to me. Even though I am so near and clear, still no one knows me completely.

 “Arjuna, all suffering and happiness are born of one’s liking and disliking, desire & aversion. Under this constant spell all these nice people are being driven all over helpless & blindfolded. But those who perform action efficiently on the line of their duty risking everything, expecting nothing, they become sinless and rise beyond likings & dislikings into quest for Truth, or in love of Me, who is none else but their very own Self. They become free and then they think of me. Then they come to know Bramha, Adhyatma and karma. Then, just like fog, cloud, vapor, ice, and water all are different water formations, the same way- adhibhuta, adhidaiva, and adhiyajna all are me– the Vasudeva. Thus they know who know and attain Me.”

“Mixed up again, O, my Lord, you elaborated the supremacy of renunciation of action and yet praised a great deal selfless performance of duty. Please tell me just one that’s best…”

 

Krishna replied:

“Dear friend, missed again! They both are best because they are not bothbut just one. Two dimensions ofjust one same process. But being easy, performing selfless actionis best. Slowly & graduallyyou rise above normal prejuditions of liking & disliking then you become eligiblefor freedom.Only baby-headed people believe these to betwo separate pathsin fact one is integrated part of the other.

 

“The other is an interpenetrating completor of the former. If you continue successfully, finally both converge upon the same one goal. Without the solid base of yoga of action, yoga of understanding’s nuts ‘n bolts remain shaky & loose, too weak to go long, whereas spiritual muscles of the karma yogi arc strong. His heart stamina is fantastic. His guts are rock like. Only way to gain this is to plunge into risk taking works. Throw off defense measures … Post-Enlightenment Life… and mechanisms, stay eloquent; then understanding comes. It has to come dear friend.

 

“Acting with no expectation, no past, no future, stay in the right now, in here, in the present, acting skillfully in such a way that the actor and acting disappears and only skillness remains. Serving as a passage to eternity into yourself, then even while doing no binding influences of action will smear you up.

“Because unknowingly, unintentionally, you go unified with the center of the whole universe. Arisen, uplifted above and abiding in this wonderful experience even while seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, eating, walking, resting, breathing, talking, taking, and using the bathroom, even while closing & opening the eyes you feel that you are not doing these but the senses are acting with their objects only & only. Then,

“Just like lotus leaf does not become smeared with water even while born and living in the pond, so also you, even while living in downtown Hollywood dealing with business-minded ambitious people, you do not become dirtified with sin. But all the while forget not that you are there not for entertainment & show, making a scene or seeing the scene, but are rather on the line of some exceptional duty, purpose of which is but sterilization of the thinking principles. The media which reflects atma.

 

“If you missed a single speck you will fall headlong from the top of the Empire State Building and circled and tied up with binding influences out of hankering for fruit you will not be able to pull the rip-cord of your parachute! Desire grabs up; vasana pops out and possesses you like a ghost. Tossing and turning around and around it gives innumerable jerks and jolts that your spiritual brain starts reeling, spiritual bones start cracking and you collapse and swoon spiritually. So watch out, do not be a fruitaholic, but rather a selfless performer of your service.

 

 

“While going on with all this a good gentleman with a good record of long spiritual practice-and still no God, comes to your rescue. No celestial being runs down to help. Because the entire bones breaking, brain reeling suffering is caused by doership. And God has nothing to do with doership. He never created it; this ghost of doership is your own delusive psychological terminator. Mental projection of course, made of dream texture dear. God never made it. He cannot see it, cannot find it, cannot shoot it; God’s machine gun will not work on the terminator of your doership. Nor has he made your vasanas nor samskaras; these and God live in two different realities. But with the touch of God it is the nature the prakriti which is acting. Acting gunas with the gunas…

“God takes neither sins nor merits of anybody It is one’s wisdom which becomes obscured by the cloud of maya; that’s why seeing so many strange hallucinations and nightmarish sights and events of life are happening.

 

 

 

“By the disappearance of the sun darkness came and the bank was robbed. But no one holds the sun responsible for that. Moon rose and in the light somebody killed somebody; for that you will not sue the moon

 

“So also God is not responsible for whatever happens to man whether he is good or bad, right or wrong, happy or miserable. When the mist of ignorance is dispersed, the understanding starts shimmering & shining and soon illuminates one’s life-turf like effulgence of sun.

“Whose intellect, whose heart, identifies more closely with the existence of God, feels more intimately God’s presence, and attains the sacred divine unification. Then such a vision is rewarded, such a gift of perspective is bestowed you are able to see the same oneness of divine union, whether outwardly one is a wise man cow, elephant, dog or untouchable.

 

“Someone who is established in such a unification-born equanimity he alone is a conqueror of the world. He is born liberated. He is the private secretary of God.

 

“When one gets the long longed-for things and doesn’t go excited or puffed up, and getting the repulsive person, place, time or situation still doesn’t feel like vomiting or fainting in nauseous fevcrishness; then such a steady intellect doubtless Bramha-knowing person resides in Bramha…

“Unfascinated towards worldly objects, non-whimsical hearted ones experience such a great joy within their very own selves that littlifies all else.

“The littliefied sensational pleasures are interconnected with deep rooted misery. Beginning is speedy, chased by the end. They are of just come and ready to go nature; too momentary & nightmarish as they are, therefore, wise ones do not rest in them nor relish. Before you lose the physical body please earn enough stamina to bear the shocks & pushes of urges of sex & rage & lure. Start with taming the desire then tame likings and dislikings. Then irritation and agitation; winning these qualifies you grow into yogi the owner of true happiness.

 

 

 

“Discover your rest in your Self, along with contentment and delight therein. Sinless, doubtless, fascinatedly rushing down to help people, being on 24 hour call if you are needed, you are rewarded with blessings of deep, deep Bramhic-experience.

 

 

 

“Dropping off thoughts of sensational joys, focus your glance in the center in between the two eyes. Combining prana & apana, balancing it into susumna or dvadasanta, as soon as sublimation of senses occurs, mind & intellect begin evaporating desire, fear, & anger too. Then, as soon as you look around inside in the cozy corner of your mystica transcensia palace, there you find the Lord of Lords seated on the diamond throne of your evaporation, the Me- the suhrdam sarva bhutanam. the eternal kinsmen of all.

 

“Thus, seeing Me there, ocean of peace innundates and then you & me–unify and all that remains is me-the vasudeva and vasudeva…

Fire of Understanding

Sri Krishna spoke,

“1.92 Billion years ago at the dawn of history, in the early morning, upon this very same planet earth, O Arjuna, I told this knowledge, this yoga, to Visvasvan, the Sun god.

 

“He then educated his son Manu, organizer of our present Age & builder of a magnificent, colossal empire, depicting the very cream of intergalactic Space,

 

“Manu then transferred this yogic knowledge to his handsome son Ikswaku when he was in his teenage. Later he successfully succeeded his father, not only in empire, but also in wisdom and all great virtues of power born of this wisdom.

 

“Thus, O Arjuna, handed down generation after generation, from time immemorial, this age-old wisdom became known to all sagacious dynasties of the solar royalties. Founded on the backbone of this knowledge that civilization became known as the Golden Age, satya-yuga, for about 4 million years. Due to a long lapse of time after that it was lost; it is only now that its regeneration is taking place between you and I. A great redemption is at hand. You, O my dear friend, are the first exponent of this wisdom since then. Now for thousands of years in the future your fame will be immortal.”

 

Arjuna said,

“My friend, O Krishna, how come? You were born when I was born, you are my age, it’s too recent. And Vivasvan, that grand, towering One, whom I read and heard about since very young, he’s an Alpha of the history, a legendary hero. How shall I know you said this to him?”

 

Krishna responded, “You & Me, O my friend, have been born in the past many many times. You do not know them but I do. My advent, life span, and disappearance is like a flash of lightening. Usual birth & actions are arranged by Yogamaya, my pleasure potency. When and when moonshine of dharma is trapped by the world wide unrighteous, then and then I on earth sparkle & splash like lightening, and Yogamaya then manages a special form & nature, and plans to carry out certain definites; thus my frolics flow. For dissolution of the wicked& rejuvenation of the sagacious, for fixing up dharma I manifest age after age, never I miss. Whatever, however is my schedule & program, howsoever is my birth and pastimes-usual or unusual, peculiar or mysterious, they are divine- so much so that if their meanings are revealed in your heart, you become so pure thatyour transmigrational process stops. You become blissed outin immortal recognition. There arc innumerable vitaragas who have thus attained Me throughout history. Why just by knowing? Because knowing Me and becoming Me are identical and simultaneous! Because, o dear friend,

“As soon as you think of Me I think of you. By thinking& counter thinking we penetrate into each other You become Me and1 become you; that’s why sages are the very heart of mine and I’m the very heart of sages. I know sages and sages know only Me. Outside each other we both don’t know anyone else.

 

ye yathamam prapadyante tamstathaiva bhaja myaham

 

naham tebhyo managapi

 

 

“That’s why those who are searching for Me are searching for themself. Once they attain, whatever name, that’s your business, but 1 know that I’m attained by you. And you are just mine own…

 

“Worship, prayer, meditation, kirtan - are just varieties of ways of thinking of Me. By addressing it to others other than Me, only means your fruit orientation hasn’t yet ended. But that’s okay. You’ll get what you wanted but not Me. For Me, for your very you, just think of Me, just think of Me. Your remembrance I shall wear on my heart like a diamond necklace. The echoing of your singing in memories of Me I shall wear as my ear rings. It is only to wear these sacred ornaments, and to be sure which ornament is coming, that I divided the mankind by natural courses of their actiton as well as samskaric instincts into wisemcn, warriors, businessmen and workmen.

 

“Although this classification is based on degrees of the hold-on expectation of the fruit of action they constantly do, transcendence of fruit-expectation on the line of duty kicks out the entire system of classification. Tightening of expectations, hopes, passionate clinging, and unrestrictable urges, pile up a destiny of ropes and ropes of bondage through this classification system. Although I myself have classified people, still I am absolutely snow white clean and distant away from the thick, black ugly darkness of fruit-oriented psychology. Look at my so neat & clean white suit! Anyone who looks at my suit instantaneously takes a quantum leap out of bondage, or all ropes & ties of bondage are broken and torn out, and there he goes free.

 

“Freedom-seeking beings of all generations have engaged in the line of their duty remembering and keeping the above set neatly in their perspective. Therefore, you too like them should perform your action. The same course is awaiting you.

 

“What is action what is non-action what is inaction and how action binds even great intellectuals go deluded in deciding. So I want you to get it right!

 

“Action performed without a single tinge of darkness of doership is action not done but happened. Happening action is always by the will of the Cosmic and that’s Me; and in turn your very you. So happening is always interconnected with the Cosmic, and doing with doership is always glued up with super-glue to heavy-duty bondage focused around ego-your falseyow.”

 

Even though apparently renouncing, even though his swami silk robe is sparkling & shining, and he heroically abandons all family calling it maya, and goes to the Himalayas, sits on a hill top and looks very gorgeous, still. Krishna informs Arjuna, because there are still thick piles of doership in all his great actions and even he is in the limelight leading thousands, still in his each movement there is plentiful painful bondage of karma. So his renouncing and going to the Himalayas and meditating there is not good enough to equal the shoe making job of Saint Raidasa Baba. Because on the line of his duty as a cobbler he transcended the notion of all doership. If you see the contrast and penetrate the reality and evolve such a constant perspective that you spot right away non-action in action and inaction in action, then you are an actor for the Universe; a living instrument of the Cosmic; and a living symbol of the Divine. This spot-light perspective can be attained by,-

burning ablaze all your doership involvement in the sacred fire of wisdom. Then here you go, you become the holy sire.

“Arjuna, Kicking out fruit-oriented instincts, abandoning fruit-expecting attitudes, cleaning one’s hands off of the black, sticky dirt of doership notions, when you stay devoid of all your shelterings of sense objects and begin developing by & by experiencing the bliss & love within, in your true Self, or visualizing the Divine abode of mine within the effulgence of your inner Self, and when this enjoyment becomes still & stable & permanent, then whatever course of action you take, no matter on the line of duty or other’s duty, right or not right, however you are, such doing is not doing anything. It is just happening. The will of the Cosmic is materializing for fulfillment of some special purpose for the welfare of multitudes for the Universe, through the Universe, and in the Universe.

 

“Therefore begin with,–

“Stay arisen from the boundary of pairs of opposites; stay far away from the stinking filth of jealousy and grounded solid in equanimity of success & failure, hire and fire, flood & sunshine, earthquake & normal day. North Pole & Bahamas, should all be the same…

 

samah siddhava siddhou cha krtvapi na nibadhyate

 

 

 

“Whenever you reach this point of evolution of consciousness then doing all like Parasuram still you are doing nothing; and not doing anything at all like Dattatreya, you are doing a billion dollar job. Tough lawyer charges$500 an hour, yours will be $1500 for 15 minutes. That valuable your time and mind and your word become. Then how highly valuable is the association of such a mighty magnanimous being? Can you speculate & calculate? Being with him is satsanga. And how so generous… Have you seen any so oceanic hearted,- he never charges you a single penny! Rather he feeds you, gives you a place to live, talks to you with big smilings on his face. When you learn to develop stamina to sacrifice your accomplishments upon each innocent smile of his counlenance then you are destined to attain something worth having. Being karma-free is the only cost.

 

“Getting rid of passionate clinging, urges of lusting, except for working hard on the line of your duty, trying hard to live by wisdom and fixing yourself always for sharing, for participating in yajna all your karmas get gone lost in the bottomless abyss.

 

“Bring one kg of clarified melted butter in a silver bowl, put 2 kg rice, herbs, dry fruits, leaf powder on a silver plate, many kinds of fragrant flowers on another, water in a silver glass, a snow white conch, and kindle the consecrated fire with chants of the Vcdas and slow rhythmic conch sound toots. Then begin offering oblations chanting your mantra mentally and offer in the fire with some loud svaha. While doing this process ignite your intuitive process and will strongly with devotion, faith and homage that your individual consciousness is offered as an oblation into the flames of cosmic consciousness. When you started you felt that the whole world, including your body & mind, were textured with delusive reality of dream and by the completion of all you find and see all things including your mind & body as mere compositions of Bramhic blissful reality. Vedic chants with sama music going on in the background, fragrant fire blazing, sitting around the alter all your loved ones, friends, relatives, husband, wife, sons, brothers pouring loving oblations you unite in one bramhic tie of reality. Your relationships become deeper and lasting. By the end you find the consecrated fire is Bramha, oblations too are Bramha, wife too is Bramha, husband too, me too…I am Bramha and I am entering the deepest core of heart in deep meditation that which you touched, the Mystic transcensia that too is truly Bramha.”

 

Krishna has been invited again and again in huge, million dollar international scale Rajasuya & Asvamedha yajna ceremonies. He has seen and lived and relived all that. So whenever he finds an opportunity he takes off and mentions yajna… We can concisely recite them,

 

“Some offer oblations of the purified focus in the seven consecrated fires of the chakras, from Muladhar to Sahastrar. Oblations of inhalation and exhalation into the fire of kumbhak.

 

“Others offer oblations of music, embrace, beauty, deliciousness, perfume, into the fire of the senses with no desire at all for sensation.

 

“Still others offer oblations of reading words of wisdom into the fire of the brain.

 

“Others offer oblations of one’s life in the line of duty into the fire of sacrificial history or cosmic life.

 

“Yajnas are finer & superior according to the degree of wisdom inherent. They culminate and complete into wisdom. Wisdom means expansion from petty mindedness to broad heartedness to magnanimity to cosmic-consciousness. Here is the last fire…

 

sarvam kamiakhilam partha jnanc pari samajryate

 

 

“To this laudable goal there are many subgoals to be discovered based on your individual history of samskaras over the last billion years. It is not an easy job, therefore, go and travel & explore holy places bathe in holy Ganga, visit sacred temples, humbly walk in Himalayas and find the real sage, some Tattvadarsi… Offer innocent, hearty obeisances, offer your humble services and he will bless you with understanding of the mystery. Knowing which you will be free…

“Then you will see that your consciousness is such a vast expansion of oceanic, nectarine illumination in which all beings abide in their bramhic reality. Then you will see their allness submerging and unifying in Me, the satchidanandam…

“Because, just like blazing fire burns away all the fuel, the same way the fire of wisdom burns away all karmas. No doubt about it…

There is nothing else more sanctifying more purifying, more illuminating than wisdom.

 

This heart-experienced wisdom is attained when the required maturity point is reached through practice of yoga of equanimity…
